I believe this statement to be true. When
life offers us challenges or experiences that leave us frightened or anxious,
it is important to be bold and courageous. Fear does not produce anything
besides making you weak, helpless and hopeless. It makes you a victim and you
start thinking like one. Once you think like a victim, know that you wont ever
see beyond an experience that leaves you feeling frightening and wont find the
lesson and solution that the universe offers you.

It is OK to be frighten, but its not OK to
allow that fear to rule over you or your mind. People who are viewed as brave
and courageous in this world are mostly those people who have looked fear in
the face, recognised its presence but move forward anyway; not allowing it to
dictate to them who they are their capabilities.
The Bible tells us that perfect love drives
out fear. It illustrates how fear is the opposite of faith. Faith allows
situations to alter even when it seems that they will never change. In moments
when I feel fearful or unsure, I meditate on the below scripture:
Exodus 14:13 But Moses said to the people,
“Don’t be afraid. Stand firm and see the Lord’s salvation. He will provide for
you today; for the Egyptians you see today, you will never see again. The Lord
will fight for you; you must be quiet.”
